Best Caribbean Citizenship by Investment Programs

Holding a second citizenship and passport can open all sorts of doors beyond your country of residence.

Security is always the most important reason to buy a second citizenship. The physical and financial protection of the individual and the family can be easily reached through a second citizenship. Taxation is another very important reason for a second citizenship. Among other things, having a second passport allows you to invest, bank, travel, live and do business in places you wouldn’t otherwise be able to.

Dominica

The Citizenship by Investment Programme of Dominica has been operating since 1993.

To qualify for citizenship of the Commonwealth of Dominica under its Citizenship by Investment Program you can make an investment in designated Real Estate with a value of at least USD 200,000.

Additional payments for any dependents included in an application, due diligence fees, government fees and other fees are also payable.

A Dominica passport gets you visa-free access to several key countries of interest: the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Panama, Colombia, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Korea. As a Commonwealth, citizens enjoy special rights for travel to the UK.

St. Kitts and Nevis

The Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program allow individuals and their families who purchase a property worth $400,000 or more at an approved project under the Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program like Beaumont Park to become full citizens and passport holders of Saint Kitts and Nevis. This is the oldest program that was successfully launched in 1984.

St. Kitts is the most reliable and old program for a second passport with easy travel to Europe.

St. Lucia

You may buy a citizenship with St. Lucia if you invest between $500,000 and $550,000 in government bonds for a period of five years. If you want a quicker way, you may invest a non-refundable amount between $200,000 and $250,000 and buy your passport that way.

If you get a St. Lucia passport, you are able to travel to 121 countries without a visa, and you may spend up to 180-days in the part of the EU that is called the Schengen area. A second passport in St. Lucia is desirable!
